Hi from the North of Scotland. I stay in a small village none of you will probably ever heard of, Dufftown. But Dufftown is very famous as the Whisky Capital of the World! a population of around 2000 people and Dufftown has 7 distilleries! Names you will know, Glenfiddich, Balvenie and nearby Macallan, and Gin like Hendricks. I'm 51 year old single male who suffers mental health issues from my military service. I find naturism is a way to melt into nature and relax with all other creatures around me, be that on a beach reading a book, or out in the local hills. I'm trying to organise local Naturist walks in my area especially for those who've never tried it, or are too nervous about stripping off in nature and walking for fear of bumping into others. What myself and a naturist friend are intending is organised led walks, I'd probably walk a distance out front of the group, and if I encounter anyone I could radio back to alert the group, those unsure could dress. We'd be aiming at both locals, and also the large amount of tourists that come here for the Whisky. I hope to maybe see you some day!!

Welcome Andy - you may like to consider creating a meet-up group on ANW for your area and looking to encourage people on the site to join you and people off the site to connect with your group here - they do not need to be paying members to be accepted into groups. 

As ANW grows in numbers around the world we would love to see more and more people forming local ANW meet-up groups.  

Maybe one day Steve and I will get up to Scotland and join you on a walk - or possible you could join us on a coastal walk down in Cornwall. 

Been on here two years and just noticed this thread. So in a somewhat aplogetic manner, we will both wave and shout as loud as we can.

We are Rob and Rin, more commonly known as RnR, and we tend to be lurking about all over the site adding comments, fooling around, and Blogging for ANW.

We are married with two teenagers, one female, who most people know as the "Windmill Girl." Then there is our other one, the currently 17 year old male, who can be anything from smiling to sudden impending doom and gloom. He does not show his face much on here because it is not cool. We live in windy and wet Manchester, and blog about our naked life in the garden, and mess about, and like most newbies to the site, when we came here, we were a little nervous. That soon left us, as we went with the flow, liked posts, added comments, and most importantly, took advantage of the free verification service, and we have never looked back, and found we have made loads of friends.

ANW is a really warm and welcoming site, and you will find, that if you join in, very soon you will have made some amazing contacts and friends. If you have a problem, just write on your wall a question, and there will be a lot of great advice on offer, so remember, jump in and have fun. See you around. :)

Thanks RnR it is always great to see a new Forum users introduce themselves - even if it is someone we feel we know well from previous topics, blogs, groups, articles etc.

In the meantime for those that don't know I am Steve's wife, we launched ANW in May 2020  after running the A Naturist Family blog for about two years. We started promoting naturism on the internet in 2016. 

We have been maried and naturist together for 15 years and our two children were delievered at home into a naturism environment. We regularly write for H&E and TAN magazine. Steve and I have written over 150 articles, blog and member blog posts so you can find out pretty much everything to know about our lives in them. 

Our oldest son has been struggling with naturism a little recently - but we hope he is getting over that. Our youngest is far too social to ever care - at least at the moment. 

Naturism has been a massive part of our lives since we got together but since launching ANW it is our lives - we estimate that we spend about 50 hours each a week on ANW 365 days a year but in reality it is much more as A Naturist World doesn't sleep - and the sun is always shining somewhere - so there is always something that demands our attention. Naturism is a passion and so is ANW - if it wasn't we would not be able to keep up the energy to do this.

Although I've been a member for a couple of years, and comments from other members, I thought I should introduce myself. I'm Roman, 72 and a widower. I'm an empty nester so being nude 24/7 isn't a problem. Nude travel is on my agenda, whether locally or otherwise. Even though its just been a couple of years as a full-time nudist, I occasionaly find myself going to check my mail in the nude. Anyway, that's me more or less.
