Naturism can lend itself to all sorts of household jobs and pastimes. What do you do naked that may be a little out of the ordinary? What do you do naked that perhaps you shouldn’t? What won’t you do naked for health, safety or other reasons? Maybe there are some pastimes or hobbies that you just wouldn’t want to do without a layer of some sort? Is covering yourself for protection being a cowardly naturist or is it just being a sensible person?

I'll do most things in life naked. Really there is only 2 things that will stop that. Cold occasionally it is too cold to do things naked. The other is usually if there is no other way of containing the risk. I'll always don clothes to weld or use an angle grinder.
It amuses Sue that I will always put on safety gear but I dont wear clothes. I will have on goggles, ear protectors and appropriate footwear but nothing else.
Given I have seen the output from angle grinders etc actually melt clothes (that's why heavy cotton is good) I dont think it's a question of cowardice more one of good sense. Acquiring 3rd degree burns probably wouldn't be a good plan.

I am not a fan of being cold either - though if I need to work outside when it is raining I often will still work naked as clothes can become very heavy and uncomfortable when wet and it is easier to dry and warm up again if I stay naked.
I too always choose safety (though sometimes my judgement can be out - through stupidity and not nudity!) and yes sometimes I will just have heavy boots, or thick gloves, goggles or ear protectors on. I don't strim our ground naked because I get pelted from head to toe with debris and pebbles.
I wonder if when the beaches reopen if some people will be on the beach naked accept for face masks? We should take some images like that to capture this moment in time - and hope it doesn't get repeated.
Some jobs like painting make complete sense to be performed nude.

I have trimmed trees nude. Tangling with poison ivy? No! I've mown my back field nude and can cut some of my lawn that way as well. I normally cook on the grill nude. I have used a string trimmer nude but know that there are two schools of thought on that. In areas where there is a lot of debris it's not a good idea since that debris will hit your legs. Otherwise, it's not really a problem. Any gardening can be done nude. Moving mulch is definitely more pleasurable without clothes.
