1. Managing Your Account & Notifications

  • Your Mini-Menu: Click your circular profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen. This is your personal command center where you can access your profile settings, privacy controls, and direct messages.
  • Taming Notifications: To avoid clutter, you can customize your notification preferences in your Account Settings. Choose exactly when you want to receive a notification bell alert or an email (e.g., for direct messages, forum replies, or group invites).

2. Photos, Media & "Amazing Albums"

  • Creating an Album: Go to your personal profile, select the "Albums" tab, and click "Create New". Give your album a clear title and description.
  • Privacy Control: You decide who sees your photos! Before publishing, set your album privacy to Public, Members-Only, or strictly Friends-Only.
  • Storage Limits: Standard Guest tiers have restricted media access. Community Members enjoy 10GB of media storage, while Lifetime Members have completely unlimited photo storage.
  • Content Guidelines: All uploaded media must align with our respectful community guidelines. Keep images social, artistic, and strictly non-exploitative.

3. Sharing Your Voice: Blogs, Forums & Groups

  • Publishing a Blog: Want to write about your latest travel experience or review a local naturist beach? Navigate to the Blog section, click "Write a Post," and share your thoughts with the community.
  • Participating in Forums: Our discussion forums are categorized by topic. Browse active threads, use the "Reply" button to add your input, or start a brand-new thread to ask the community a question.
  • Starting a Group: Premium members can create custom groups centered around specific locations or interests (e.g., "Midwest Naturists" or "Naturist Hiking"). You can host private discussions, upload group-specific photos, and organize local meetups.

4. Advanced Features: Virtual Meets & Podcasts

  • Fortnightly Virtual Meets: Annual and Lifetime members receive exclusive video meeting links via email and system notifications. Simply click the link at the scheduled time to join our friendly face-to-face video hangs.
  • ANW Community Podcast: Listen to episodes directly through our library. If you have an inspiring story or travel experience you'd love to share on our podcast, drop Anna or Steve an email to apply as a guest speaker.
  • Enterprise Map Tools: Verified business owners can access advanced directory tools to pin their resort, B&B, or club on our interactive world map and post promotional updates.

5. Technical Troubleshooting & Support

  • Photos failing to upload? Check your image file size. Our system limits individual uploads to 5MB. If your file is larger, try compressing or resizing it first. Also, verify you haven't hit the storage cap for your membership tier.
  • Not receiving verification or notification emails? Add our official address [email protected] to your safe-sender list or email contacts to prevent automated emails from landing in your Spam/Junk folder.
