Boca Chica Key is an island in the lower Florida Keys. The beach is very naturalist located in a tranquil and secluded area. The rocky shoreline is loaded with fiddler crabs, sea cucumbers, snails, fish, starfish, hermit crabs. Moving away from the shoreline there are a lot of trails going thru the trees. Nudity is normal here. You will come to a sign upon entering the beach; “Clothing optional beyond this point.”

Beyond the concrete barricade, immediately south of the culvert, the nude area begins and stretches for 2 miles It’s the only legally sanctioned “nude beach” in the Florida Keys and many visitors, especially the locals, take advantage of the opportunity. You will also see people have made structures; lean-to's with branches, composed of stacked rocks and coral. It is also home to the largest Naval Air Station in Southern Florida, you can feel the ground shake as they fly over head.
