Keough Hot Springs is situated 7 miles North of Big Pine & 7 miles South of Bishop. There are a couple of soaking pots situated at the top of road, near the (textile) resort. These pots are textile only and entrance fees apply.Below the resort, above the highway, are several brush lined pools on the eastern slopes of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. They overlook the high desert of the Owens Valley. Nudity at these free hot pools is common and the pools are open 24/7. The only small downside are the large buzzing, powerlines situated overhead. These soak pots can get crowded at certain times, especially from 1pm.
