The bay of Matanchén is located on the Pacific coast, in the state of Nayarit, south of the port of San Blas. It is a beautiful paradise off the coast of the Mexican Pacific.

An extensive virgin area where you can find some remote spots for unofficial naked sunbathing where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the entire bay, which measures an approximate area of 7 kilometers and a width of 30 meters. Here there is the School of Fisheries Engineering, which undertakes projects for the reproduction of marine species in danger of extinction and projects to preserve sea turtles and research for the best reproduction of shrimp and clam, so some use of repellent is prohibited.

The natural characteristics make it excellent for the practice of different water sports, such as diving, sailing, surfing, soccer and beach volleyball. But it is also very enjoyable to simply take long walks on the beach to enjoy beautiful sunsets and sample some local cuisine.
