Les Salines is one the brightest and warmest beaches on the island. The beach is divided into three parts: Grande Anse des Salines, the biggest and best known section, Grande Terre des Salines to the east, and at the far end of Les Salines is a smaller, secluded beach called Petit Anse de Salines.

Although nudity is prohibited throughout the island, nudity is not uncommon here, in fact most people that frequent are naturists.

Like its neighbours it is a sandy beach with a wide and very gentle slope, dotted along its length are coconut palms for shade and poisonous manchineel trees, which should always be avoided. As its name suggests, its dimensions are less generous than those of its sisters. The waters here are often calm, making it perfect for those with little ones.
