I'm a relative newcomer, with only one (soon to repeat) experience with a landed club. I also have no stats on attitudes of women towards naturalism. Maybe ANW has some related data.
To echo this year's ANW theme "Get Real", let's get real on this point: My proposition is that if more women, with or without partners, and most of whom are mothers, can be attracted to naturalism, then our challenges, about so much has been well discussed in these forums, will almost solve themselves.
What are the attitudes, concerns, levels of curiosity, worries, etc. that might be discouraging women from naturalism? How do we overcome those things?
I'm going to speculate that, although it is said that many clubs are majority men, most of those men have wives or girlfriends who don't show up. Why?
What things need to be done to attract women to this rewarding experience? Why shouldn't the turnout be roughly 50-50? Women now enjoy a level of freedom in virtually all things (at least in the "western" world) never before seen.
