Which coastline do you think is the best for a naturist holiday in France? The Bay of Biscay or The Mediterranean? Tell the forum about your experiences

I would say that the Atlantic Coast, in paricular les Landes remains the best. That's where the best campings are (CHM, Euronat, Arna, la Jenny). Those are relatively big campings though. There are really good for families with a lot of activities for kids and nice swimming pools. For a different experience, I would also recommend a couple of campings which are not by the sea - in particular la Sabliere and la Genese. It's different but really nice too!

Thank for your local (French) knowledge. That stretch of coast is amzing blessed with naturist opportunities.
Good call about getting some inland experience too.

I do want to bring the family to France for that experience some day (maybe this year if I can!) I think it will be a mind-opening experience for all of us because of the number of people and the wide open space.
Any suggestions for locations for first visits? I have read a lot about CHM, la Jenny, Euronat, and it's hard to choose one. Is it also true that people only go nude at the beach and in pools where it's required to be nude? I always find it odd to go a naturist place to see more clothed people than nude ones. It may not be the right kind of influence for the teens in the family too!
