Koktebel is situated on the shore of the Black Sea halfway between Feodosia and Sudak in South-Eastern Crimea.
Koktebel has the largest naturist beach in the former USSR. It also hosts an annual naked jazz festival end of August-September.
You will find the naturist beach is soft golden sand and pebble, which is fine for walking barefoot and the sea is clean and clear due in part to the stone bottom. During the summer the beach can be densely packed having 700 naturists at one time. It is popular with all naturist types. Ball games etc or not especially enjoyed here due to the beach area being quite narrow.
