Swimming maked in two South Bohemian Sandstones, known as the nearby villages Majdalena and Suchdol nad Lužnicí and Tušt, which is sometimes called the sand pit at Suchdol.
It is the largest lake in this area and has been created by the gradual linking of the lakes. In the northern part, the sand is still being mined. However there is an oasis of calm, only occasionally disturbed by the passage of a truck just out of the mining area.
In the southern part of the lake there are several fishermen, and random visitors from the range of mushroom pickers, boaters and quite a few permanent visitors from naturists. Fortunately, the lake is almost inaccessible for motorized visitors, so there is peace. The car must be left either in a few far-flung parking lots near the main road or in Suchdol. Then it is necessary to continue on foot several hundred meters. It's worth it.
Sandstones Tušt.The lake is of smaller size near the village of the same name is the opposite of the above because it is accessible for cars and is close to the road. Therefore, there is quite a lot, the beach in the northern part is mostly occupied by families in swimsuit, if we go along the coast to the east, naturists begin to prevail. Here you can find beautiful and quiet nooks. The opposite bank to the south is less used, but there is also plenty of bathing here. The water is very clean.
