Located at the western end of the peninsula of Arvert, Plage de la Pointe Espagnole is one of the most beautiful wild beaches of the department.
Famous for its water-sports and also a great beach for walkers and joggers, but for swimming, you have to be very careful because the area is very rough and strong currents are reported.
It also suffers from strong waves, not ideally suited to families with small children. This wild and tranquil beach has a large supervised naturist area and small places to picnic.
