The Current World Naked Bike Ride for Waihi beach, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand is Saturday, 15th March, 2025.
The ride at Waihi Beach covers 11 Km from Bowentown to Waihi Beach and return. It is almost completely flat and takes around 45 - 55 minutes.
Starting Point: Bowentown Domain North, Waihi Beach 3177. Bay of Plenty, New Zealand
10:30 - 11:20
Preparation time. Body painting, preparing bikes, flags and banners.
11:20 - 11:30
Pre-ride briefing, clarification of the rules and expected behaviour, wet weather contingency plan if required.
11:30 - 12:30
The ride.
12:35 onwards
De-briefing, announcements, prize giving, social time and "Naked Rave" over drinks and lunch at Waihi Beach Hotel bar and outdoor picnic area.
