Welcome to this end of March Newsletter.
Please note that some links on this version of the Newsletter are not activated as they require the reader to sign into ANW.
It is with great pleasure that we have seen a movement towards Summer in the last couple of weeks. Spring truly has Sprung here in the Northern Hemisphere, and hopefully Autumn is not seeing too much of a Fall in temperatures in the Southern Hemisphere.
The change in season coincided with Our Naturist World Awareness Day. March's celebrations on this topic included saw a new Podcast, a new Member Blog about Outdoor Showers and a Themed Virtual Meet adding to the Article and other activity earlier in the month.
Next month's theme Naturist Sport and Health Day falls on 7 April. Through the month we will encourage various activities on the theme, and we have started the ball rolling with a new Interactive Project, a Virtual Meet on the 7th and a Poll suggestion.
ANW-ers may have noticed that the Explore pages are moving category-by-category to new sections in the area as part of the regeneration of this huge ANW resource. Allowing countries to take a vital role in how this area functions. The move will be completed by ANW's 5th Birthday in May, and by then we will also be actively encouraging more reviews, updates and additions to the area as part of ANW's mission to actively grow naturism around the world.
Speaking of growth. The community is heading towards 14,000 Profiles now and during the last week of March we saw page views soar to an average of over 156,000 a day with Saturday ending the week with an extraordinary 173,530 page visits, and a weekly total of 1,100,000 (as illustrated in the graph below).
As ANW approaches it's 5th Birthday it is fair to say that the community is simply going from strength-to-strength and becoming a Life or Annual Membership is therefore more valuable than ever to each individual and just as vital for ANW as expansion also means more cost and more hours. Message Inboxes
Although some members may, like ourselves, delete and spring clean their "Messages" there are still currently over 100,000 messages stored on the ANW servers dating back to May 2020.
As we approach the fifth birthday of the ANW launch we have decided it would be sensible to have an automated system to delete messages over two years old.
The automated deletion of messages will commence on the 7 April 2025, so please ensure that you copy any information from messages older than May 2023 during the next week. Thank you.

Interactive Project - This Naturist Sporting Life
Created as part of celebrating Naturist Sport and Health during April, for the 12 Days of Naturism. We want ANW Subscribers to send in their favourite naturist sporting photograph along with a short paragraph (up to 300 words) about how naturism enhances physical activity and/or keeping fit - your thoughts can be aimed at either the specific exercise or all exercise enjoyed as a naturist.

Amazing Albums
44 new albums have been created over the past couple of weeks with several members enjoying adding to their Monochrome Monday albums. A few albums have reflected the theme of March with people getting out and about in nature. New Member Jurgen has embraced the albums area with visits to Denmark and Bottsand over the years and Leho shares his new tattoo.
The community also had fun sharing photos playing various musical instruments in response to Naked Ukulele Day.

They are, of course, mostly virtual and, sadly but not surprisingly, after the initial friend request, we hear very little from them. Since we are scattered all over the globe, it’s unlikely we will ever get to meet in person, and we will remain virtual acquaintances. However, it doesn’t always need to be this way, and I know that some folks on ANW have been fortunate enough to meet up with fellow ANW’ers."
