Spiaggia Le Dune di Piscinas in Sardinia, Italy is a peaceful, idyllic and stunning beach over three kilometres long, made up mostly of pebbles though some sections have sand.
Very sensitive to mistral the sea is no go when windy, and at other times the currants can be tricky. The sand dunes here are the highest in Europe standing up to 60 m, offers some protection from the winds.
A popular beach especially in high season. If you are looking for a spot to bear all, head to the right to avoid the crowds. There are 2 beach cafes with very reasonable prices and seats in the shade. Sun umbrellas for rent and safeguard on duty. Fairly easy walk of a few hundred meters from the parking area to the beach.
This beach now has official status.
