Šunj beach is the only sandy beach in Dubrovnik region. It is located on the outer side of Lopud island, a 25 minute walk from the settlement.

The beach is very popular for swimming and although its considered remote due to its location. The beach is very clean, with an and sea water quality is very good. When facing the sea, the left part of the beach is FKK reserved, which means bathing for naturists is at that point.

This beach usually gets quite crowded so it is advisable to come early to find a good spot for some naked sunbathing and skinny dipping.
