Getting There:

Directions: Sandilands is to the south of Sutton On Sea, that is south of Mablethorpe on the Lincolnshire coast. It took us about an hour from our home. You arrive at Sutton On Sea via the A52 and head along Sea Lane to the coast, following the road along the coast to Huttoft Bank road where you will see the National Trust car-park and toilets on the coastal side of the road after driving past a run of Beach huts. Parking is free to National Trust members. There is also a council run car park on the south side of the beach that is not free to National Trust members and is also a little more expensive than the National Trust car park, but it is there as an option.

You can walk along the beach front path, or opt to walk on the paths in the land maintained by the Trust. We walked for 10 minutes or more, and felt that this was now remote enough.
