Praia do Beliche is situated on the western Algarve, close to the small town of Sagres. This south facing beach is protected from the westerly winds by the spectacular 40m high cliffs which keep this beach sheltered.
Once you have negotiated the steep steps down the cliff side there are interesting rock formations and caves to explore. At the far end of the beach in the second or western cove, is the nudist section where one can enjoy the clean white soft sands. Be aware that the water in this area can be very dangerous due to the tides, rips and currents.
