Located on the Western Algarve in the area of Vila do Bispo, Portugal, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Praia do Zavial has been unspoilt by the ravages of mass tourism and concrete highrise. A very popular large golden sand beach, surrounded by a small eucalyptus forest which is sometimes used for free camping.
The eastern side of the beach is much quieter and so is enjoyed by naturists where there is a peaceful co-existence between all.Surrounded by high and often sheer cliffs, it can get windy at times.A popular destination for surfing, be careful because of riptide and the rocky outcrops when bathing in the sea.
