It is an isolated beach located in the grovense parish of San Vicente do Mar. Located in a semi-urban environment next to Portonovo and is bordered on the left by Punta Seame and on its right bank by Punta Cabicastro.
Surrounded by trees, it has fine white sand and a length of 250 meters. Near the beach is a military area currently in disuse.
