The beach of the Russo, next to the one of the Pebret, is of the few sandy beaches of the Natural Park of the Mountain range of Irta. You can see such valuable plants as the sea lily and the sea mackerel, which appear on the dunes located on the beach front and on the moving dunes, which are more inland. Its length is 80 m and its total area is 1,200 m² of fine sand.
The name given to this beach is due to a Russian lieutenant who settled in here. It was previously named "New Lance". Near El Ruso, there is the Playilla, with dark sand surrounded by cliffs and caves.

Although on foot the access is more rugged since to go down to the beach you have to cross a long path sloped with sand and dust. However, the most complicated part of the descent is the stretch in which the road seems to disappear and is transformed with an area of cane fields and aloe vera. To cross this framework is necessary to walk crouched and through a tunnel until arriving at the beach.
