Playa de Valdearenas is a naturist beach located on the coast near the city of Santander, in Liencres.
A beautiful and extensive beach with more than 2.5 miles of fine sand, and views to the Cantabrico sea.
The Dunes located behind the beach are considered to be some of the most important in the north of Spain, due to their geomorphological interest, and landscape characteristics.
Caution should be taken when swimming in the open sea, as the currents are strong and swirls are generated. This beach never gets too crowded and despite its wind Playa de Valdearenas is a popular place frequented by naturists.

- Directions From Liencres in the direction of Arce (S-463), take the deviation to the right that indicates to the Beach of Valdearenas, crossing the Natural Park, until arriving at a parking at the foot of the beach which is not overly large.There is another car park in the dunes. After walking for 15 min from this second car park you discover a magnificent beach with clear waters and spectacular cliffs.
