A wide straight beach made up of shingle and sand in Cornwall. The coastal footpath runs along the beach and through to Seaton along the promenade. Popular for long beach walks, beach fishing, windsurfing and swimming. The second and third bays are used by naturists.
Take care not to get cut off by the tide. The numerous rocky outcrops provide good screening, making for seclusion and a beach "ideal for naturism".
The first small shingly bay is mainly for clothed families. The second is more sandy and more for naturists.
The third bay (still not a great distance - an easy walk) is in the words of one beach user "paradise", a huge expanse of sand, not many people.
Warnings about being cut off by the tide also apply once you actually reach the beach - great caution is required.
