Secret Cove is one of a series of beaches located along Highway 28 on the remote east shore of Lake Tahoe. Next to Sand Harbor Beach, Secret Cove is a quieter stretch of beach.The name is fitting because unless you're really looking to forgo trips to Sand Harbor or even Baldwin Beach for an off-the-beaten path adventure, you will probably not come across this place.
However, Secret Cove is nevertheless well regarded by some. A great place for naturists, there is a sign at the entrance with the wording "Nudes May Be Present In This Area". You really can get a good sense of privacy here, especially with all the giant rocks providing cover.The water is inviting and crystal clear and the environment is amazing. The beach is on National Forest land.
