Plage de la Batterie is the only naturist beach in Caines. In 2009 Naturism was forbidden in Cannes, but it seems the municipality authorizes it on these 3 small beaches.
The first beach consists of sand and pebbles, and is the largest" and has a superb view of the bay of Juan les Pins. The other two consist only of fine sand but are very small and get very crowded.
The surrounding rocks are also frequented by naturists for several km. The central part of the beach tends to be straight, gay men gather at either end, but mainly the west end. Men, women, young and old are just comfortable in their own skin.
Avoid coming after nightfall.
