Breaker Bay is a picturesque sandy cove which is part of the Oruaiti Reserve, on the south east coast of Wellington City.
A rocky beach popular with surfers and naturists. This isn’t strictly a nudist beach, but a large portion of it is commonly used by naturists. The cove offers protection from the wind and has great views all around the bay.
Swimming is dangerous due to high tides. The area of the beach commonly used by nudists is from the 'hole in the rock' which is situated about 100 m from the car park out to the point. Take a look whilst here for some Paua shells lying around.
