Portsmouth City's friendly little beach

Description
Charming little sandy shingle beach, and one of the easiest to access I've ever encountered. Lovely views across the Solent, but ugly views behind in the form of a derelict military fort. Constantly under threat of development, Eastney beach continues to hang in there, much to the joy of the local beach goers, and a friendlier bunch I've yet to meet. The seawater is usually crystal clear, but watch for submerged obstacles if you do take the plunge. Officially recognised as a naturist beach by Portsmouth City Council, but the signs always need replacing as they're constantly being nabbed, probably locals who think it's funny to grab a souvenir.
