Cala de la Media Luna located at Cabo de Gata in Almería is a beautiful wild beach oriented to the South Southeast. It is given its name by the shape of the beach, a sand crescent with rocky formations on both sides that provide us with some shade and shelter.
It offers 600 meters of fine sand and transparent waters. Ideal for children, swimming, snorkelling, trekking, sunbathing and sightseeing. The entrance to the water is gentle, the bottom is comfortable. It also has little in the way of waves in this area.
There are a large variety of volcanic beaches and coves in this natural park.
Go left to find your own private cove protected from the wind. This beach is well used by naturists.
In high season there is a small charge for parking. The car park fills up quickly so arrive early. Once you leave there you can no longer enter again with the same ticket.
