Ligaries is a windswept, hidden away, beach on the northwestern side of the island in Skiathos.Popular with naturists due to the beaches seclusion and lack of tourists you will find they tend to frequent the right hand side of the beach.
The waters are turquoise and offer good opportunities for snorkeling. The coast is made up with sand, pebbles, driftwood & shrubbery around. The beach is exposed to the elements.

- Facilities You will find an authentic Greek family run taverna set back from the beach, which receives a lot of praise it is open through the summer until October. There are around 30 umbrellas with 2 loungers under each, which are free to use.

- Directions Be prepared to drive as it is quite remote. There are streams to go over and lots of 'off-road' (The dirt road is about 6Km ) areas of bumpy gravel and ruts to get through. A quad bike or jeep is the best form of transport.From Troulos turn right towards Asselinos. After 2 km continue into the hills rather than fork left to Asselinos Beach. Continue past the dog sanctuary and Little Asselinos beach. After heading inland for a while you will cross a small stream. Turn left immediately afterwards and follow the track through another stream until you reach a fork in the road. Head left here to reach Ligharies beach.
