Debeljak Beach is a clothing optional quiet sheltered cove. A popular beach with locals, especially the younger generation who enjoy playing a water game called “Picigin”. You will hear that Debeljak is a sandy beach, this is true in part; It is the seabed that is sandy where as the central part of the beach is covered with gravel and pebbles.
The sides of the beaches are rocky and flat. The sea is calm with a gently sloping bottom. The sea is clear and shows beautiful colors, with all the shades of green and blue; the mouth of the bay is protected by a rope with floats, which opportunely avoids the entry and stopping of sailing boats and any kind of motor boat.
The coast allow you to enjoy privacy and peace even in the case of a considerable influx of bathers. In high season the can get particularly crowded, it is advisable not to arrive late.
