Plakias beach is located on the Southern coast 40 kilometres south of Rethymno. It is one of the biggest beaches in Crete, offering a sense of space and privacy.
The eastern part of the beach is naturist friendly and is called Paligremnos, due to the huge vertical cliffs that rise to a great height.
Wonderful for snorkeling with plenty of fish. This shelving shingle beach also offers good swimming and beautiful setting. Mikro Amoudi, which is also a naturists' beach is located not too far away.
