Located on the south coast of the region of Chania, Frangokastello Beach with its white mountain back drop is made up of one big beach and several smaller bays.
Head left for the naturist area, which is just a ten-minute stroll east of the castle. It is a quite stunning with big sand-dunes and crystal clear waters.

- Directions Frangokastello Beach is easily accessible from the road. Parking is not a problem and the village is also on a bus route.Getting here by car from Chania take the National Road connecting Chania and Heraklion and exit to Vrysses and drive through the gorge of Imbros, which leads to the south coast of Sfakia. Then, follow the signs to Fragokastelo. Alternatively, you can get to Fragokastelo by taking a bus from Chania.
