Kalamitsi beach is an (unofficial naturist beach) located 11 km east of Toroni. Within a large cove are three beaches. The third beach which measures 150 meters long, is the most isolated; the water is very calm and since the beach faces south the sun warms up the water, although getting to this beach does require some crossing over the rocks, hence its isolation.
This is a wonderful little beach, although somewhat spoiled by the presence of rather slummy tents, caravans and camper-vans which are placed directly on the sand. The golden sand is coarse and the sea-bottom is also made up of sand. Due to the clarity of the waters this sheltered bay offers some great opportunities for snorkeling.
