Red Beach is on the Southern part of the island of Crete, some 25 minutes away from Matala.
It offers a beautiful secluded fine red sand beach which is vulnerable to the western winds blowing frequently in the region and crystalline waters of lovely blue-green color. Hidden behind a rocky hill and a fence and is a small paradise for nude swimmers.
Being naturist friendly, Red beach in Crete, has been voted as one of the top nudist-friendly beaches in the world, especially its northern part, which is protected by a long rocky limestone, which has been broken into parts by the sea, forming a big marine cave, called Kouroupi, which can be accessed by boat.
