Located in Lagos between Camilo Beach and the Ponta da Piedade is a place of extraordinary beauty. Secretly tucked between rocky cliffs, it has been said to be one of Portugal's most beautiful beaches.
A popular beach with naturists (where naturist boards have been erected) and sheltered from the winds, access is difficult where you descend down steps carved into the surrounding rock slopes. It also has an interesting cave that connects to a grotto. This small golden beach measuring just 40 meters long has sea which is very clear – ideal for snorkeling.
