The Praia do Malhao is a stunning and expansive beach that is situated to the north of Vila Nova de Milfontes. The isolated beach is set amidst the Sudoeste Alentejano national park and is protected from development.
The ferocious Atlantic Ocean means it is popular with bodyboarders and surfers. A super interesting beach for small children, with some mini natural pools where children can play. One can explore the small rocks.
Deep cliffs and well-protected dunes make Praia do Malhao Beach a popular unofficial naturist beach.
For visitors who are searching for a remote beach far from the masses. who enjoy a spectacular sunset, this is a good destination.
