A picture postcard cove nestled between two cliffs measuring about a kilometer in length. Playa del Aguila, or Playa de las Escaleras (which has this second name on the steep steps to get down to the beach), is located south of Playa "El Cotillo" (Piedra Playa).
It has sand of beautiful golden color, and fresh water, very clean and transparent. Ideal for those seeking tranquility, due in part to the lack of people that frequent this beach, because of the many steps taken (many of which are in poor condition), to access it.
Nudism is allowed, on this windy beach with a strong swell, which also attracts many surfers. Many people believe this is one of the best beaches in the area.
