The route of ascent is from the beach of Asno in Tasartico to Punta del Descojonado. A cross -country route, there is no road. In some sections there is a clear danger of falling. It starts next to the Camping de Tasartico, ascending the Cañon del Barranco de Los Durazneros (also known as Cañada de la Mar), there is no path, and in some points you must climb a bit (see photos), in the upper extreme precautions, the ground is eroded and slippery. After 1.5 km, the ascent ends in La Degolladita de Los Frailes. At this point we were surprised by the spectacular relief of the wildest southeastern coast of Gran Canaria and we spot the Punta de Descojonado towards which we descend through the countryside with extreme caution. The return is made by where it was climbed.
