Playas de Arenas Blancas is located in the municipality of La Frontera, on the island of El Hierro .Is a secluded beach perfect for naturists, without boardwalk mainly composed of rocks and black sand beach of volcanic origin.
The shape of the coast, the waves and the sea currents have led to the formation of this beach on a platform of recent lavas (less than 10,000 years). The bathing conditions in Playa Arenas Blancas is usually not dangerous since there are not usually strong currents, this beach does not have great services since it is a virtually virgin beach. If what you want is to go to a beach more inhabited just 3 kilometers is the Playa el Verodal.

- Directions The Port of La Estaca is enabled for berthing of ferries with rolled cargo and passengers and small cruises. It communicates the island with the port of Los Cristianos (from here you can arrive by bus to Tenerife South airport). Some wholesalers offer organized trips to El Hierro, but those who wish to travel on their own can make reservations at any travel agency. In case you are visiting another island in the archipelago, it is always easy to hire a day trip to the island.
