El Verodal beach is located on the island of El Hierro; In the municipality of La Frontera, near the Lighthouse of Orchilla.On this tip of the island is a sign of the strength of the volcano.
A set of enormous flows that come from eruptions of the last volcanic stage of El Hierro, at the end of the north dorsal, one of the three that form the island. Although it is a beach of great beauty, it is not recommended for swimming due to strong currents and landslides, but this does not imply approaching to see this unique red sand beach.
El Hierro is an island with steep coasts, unlike some of its sisters, like Fuerteventura. Its beautiful red sand make it very special, as well as the wild scenery of the cliffs that surrounds it.
At El Verodal beach you will often find naturists, possibly because it offers beautiful views and tranquility and is not the easiest of beaches to get to. You could also visit the Arenas Blancas beach. This beach, offers a more intimate and practically virgin beach, frequented by naturists where the currents are quite soft and the bath, much more pleasant.
