The beautiful Cala Xarraca is a cove located to the North of the Island of Ibiza 5 kilometers from Sant Joan.The intense blue and transparent waters are perfect for divers. It offers a 90 meters long and 15 meters wide stony beach, and is surrounded by lush pine forests dotted with white houses.
This attractive cove at the foot of a small cliff of red earth, with small islets in front. Cala Xarraca offers the possibility of mud baths with healing properties, towards the left side of the beach, so do not be afraid to smear from head to toe and rejuvenate your skin. Divided into three zones, the first one in the middle by which we access the beach, is in front of the restaurant Cala Xarraca, and is the busiest and most popular it also offers some sun loungers and umbrellas and also some aquatic fun.
To the sides there are two smaller zones. You will find on the left hand side is a path where there is a small hidden zone where people enjoy nudism. To the right of the cove, we find the zone of the varaderos of Cove Xarraca or small houses of fishermen. There is no sand here so we must find our place in the cement that surrounds them.
There is a concrete platform which people enjoy the seabed full of fish, octopuses, cuttlefish from so be sure to bring diving goggles. Its tip has become the favorite place to jump to the sea from its two or three meters of height.

- Directions To get to Xarraca Cove you have to take direction Portinatx. From Ibiza, at kilometer 17 you will find a detour to this cove and there is often enough parking next to it. Please note the beach is not properly adapted for people with reduced mobility as they will have to descend a steep slope for access.
