Cala del Pilar is a virgin naturist beach located on the North Coast of Menorca, between Ferreries and Ciutadella. The sand of as in most of the north, is of reddish, golden color, and the water is transparent and crystalline whenever the wind conditions are favorable.
There is a drinking water source, located towards the back area, which is appreciated by the few local bathers and tourists who come to enjoy their clean water and beautiful landscape. One of the peculiarities of this beach is its strong exposure to the Tramuntana (North Wind).
Before going to Cala Pilar make sure that there is no wind from the north since in that case you will most likely find yourself with an uncomfortable swell in the sea as well as dirt on the shore. Cala Pilar is an isolated, and very attractive point cove on the coast of Menorca.
