The Arenal beach of Sonabia is located in the municipality of Liendo, and is situated in a closed valley, surrounded by mountains of low height and with an endoreconic river network that flows into a single sink.
Playa de Sonabia is a small nudist beach surrounded by beautiful hills and hugging a huge limestone promontory, known as the Whale by its profile. This hidden beach is difficult to access.
In its scarce 100 meters of length there is much tranquility, here and unlike other coastal towns it does not have extensive beaches, although it does have a spectacular coastal cliff.
