The beach of Portiellu, also known as Portiello de San Martín, and locally as Playa de Los Curas. Is something of a well kept secret nudist beach. Playa de Portiellu is a totally natural and intimate beach in a quiet environment without services.
Measuring approx 100 meters long is composed of sand and rocks, and offers crystalline waters and an average degree of occupation. It completely disappears with high tide! The only way to get to this beach is from the adjacent beach of Toró which is a little to the West, towards Llanes during low tide.
The storms and the winter tides have made the previous entrance to the cove (a natural staircase carved in the clay of the land) impossible to access. Making access via Toro during low tide now the only option, but this in turn only makes this beach more intimate.
