The picturesque Polynesia Beach is located 3.5 km from Umag in the immediate vicinity of the resort from which it gets its name, the Sol Polynesia Resort, and more precisely in the Katoro village.

The actual beach is rocky and partially paved. Lounge chairs and parasols can be securely placed on this surface The beach contains pebble, stone and sandy parts. The Sol Polynesia beach has been awarded a Blue flag status and you will find there is a part of the beach which is for nudists.

That part of the beach is grassy with rocky parts here and there and is separated by a pine tree forest which offers at times much needed shade.
