It is situated in the South-eastern coast of Istria, near a small tourist resort Rabac. Girandella is a beach that was awarded a Blue flag because of its rich contents and the quality, as well as the purity of the sea.

An unofficial naturist beach with 99% of sunbathers being nude. It is approx 1500 meters long, and consists of rocks offering several small coves.Thanks to the location in the Kvarner bay, the Rabac sea is fantastic - warmer and calmer than the beaches facing the ocean. The beaches here are great off-season as too.

Take beach shoes to go in and out of the sea as those pebbles can be quite difficult to walk on without them. During summer evening hours the Girandella beach turns into a popular gathering place for both the young and old alike. For some years now Girandella beach has hosted a traditional summer festival during the month of July. Everyone can enjoy electronic music celebrated here until the early morning hours.
