At the very tip of the Cape, just miles from downtown Provincetown, Herring Cove Beach is part of the National Seashore, and is the most commercial of all the national seashore beaches with an extensive food stand and paved boardwalk, great scenery with sand as far as the eyes can see.
There is unofficial nude bathing, although the beach rangers official policy is no nude or topless sunbathing; There is a section of the beach where it is tolerated and the park rangers don't come down that far. Upon entering the beach turn left / south, ocean in front of you, parking lot to the rear. Pass the wooden structure and head for the lighthouse. You will find plenty of other nudists and secluded places for nude bathing.
