Scott Creek is a beautiful wild beach situated half hour north of Santa Cruz.Measuring a mile and a half long it is a clothing optional sandy beach, (Bonny Doon is a popular better sheltered nude beach just up the road).
Wild, with high winds, it is popular with surfers, wind surfers, and kite surfers. When you reach the beach you will notice shark and strong undertow warnings, and on a lucky day there are plenty of sharks, dolphins, whales and seals to be seen. We would advise against swimming in these waters.
