Red Rock Beach or Mickeys beach is just south of Stinson beach. As you are driving North from San Francisco along PCH, the large dirt parking lot right before entering the town of Stinson beach is the parking and trailhead to Red Rock. A remote clothing optional beach which is part of Mount Tamalpais State Park. There are many great and interesting rock formations, with giant boulders which meet thunderous crashing waves. It's very rugged and as up close and personal with the cliffs and the ocean as you can get. There are abundant opportunities for rock climbing, which this beach is popular for. You will also see many of the climbers are in the nude!
To reach the naturist section, head right when you reach the base of the stairs. The initial beach is extremely rocky. If you continue North along the cliff base and around some large boulders, you will come out into a large stretch of Sandy beach. This is Red Rock beach. The cliff breaks into two to three plateaus before the beach and you will find people camped out on all the levels. The beach is usually packed sand but after storms can be fairly rocky. The beach area going North from red rock before Stinson is also reachable when tide is low. There is a large rocky arm that juts into the beach that can be walked around at low tide. The whole area at red rock and just north is nude until you get to Stinson beach. Just south of red rock beach is a cool little beach side hot spring. Though the times when it is usable is dependent on the tides because of its height from sea level.
