In the hollow of this small bay of the St. Lawrence, the kilometer of naturist beach of Cap-aux-Oies brings together salt water and shallow pools of water quickly warmed by the sun. For more than 25 years, this beach has welcomed naturists from all over Quebec.
Unfortunately the nudist section can be seen from the beaches textile/naturist car parking area, but there is no trouble. There is no proper textile zone; there are not many people outside of the naturist zone, and the few people who are there seem to be tourists who have taken a route by chance and who do not go as far as at the naturist section. It is very busy on weekends, so it is good to arrive early and know that at low tide, you can walk directly on the water.
